I don't understand why people complain about things that are normal, like a mosquito activating the camera or the wind causing noise in the microphone? that is very normal, the clarity of this camera is very good, I could say excellent, but it could improve to 4 or 8 K.I bought one first and now bought 2 more. I've only had a little connection problem, but that's because I have to change my router. In total I have 5 cameras of this brand. And it has been the best investment. I have shown them to people who install security cameras, much more cameras, and they liked it to the degree that they wanted me to give them the models because they were thinking of buying them.Bought 2 since i was dealing with a lot of criminal activity in our gated community and fell in love with it!! I got the subscription for the whole deal and it definitely works and alerted me! Definitely recommend ??The only thing i wish was better was the followingI noticed that when people were walking fast past it the camera didnt quiet catch their movements. So it is a little slow in that area. The night image quality is really good for what i needed so still recommend it.Had one outside before an it stop working after around 9 months but the ones i have for inside works perfectFirst camera i sent back, second one was perfect. Both cameras came ahead of their arrival time. Set up was a little complicated but managed to get it working with help form my son. Just were to put it on wall was another story, but all in all thing went pretty smooth. Would i buy another one, you bet i would after reading the reviews of a lot of other cameras on Amazon.I have 8 Ezviz cameras of varying types. This review is for the C8PF which is an outdoor, dual lens PTZ model. When I first encountered Ezviz products I found them to be a good value/price option. Their basic wifi cameras offered good picture quality, onboard storage options and some compatibility with my evolving Smart Home. As my needs increased I began buying higher end Ezviz cameras such as their floodlight model, the DB1 doorbell camera [both reviewed separately] and this latest exterior, dual lens model. What I've seen is, as the price and role of Ezviz cameras increase, the feature set and [IOS] app experience sadly begin to limit their usefulness. Examples with this particular camera are the glaring lack of PoE support in a modern camera intended for wired, outdoor use and some of the worse motion detection features I've seen to date. For instance, I wanted the camera to send motion alarms between the hours of 8:00 PM and 08:00 AM. To accomplish this I had to create two separate schedules, one for 8PM to midnight and another for midnight to 8AM. There is no guidance for this anomaly, you just have to figure it out through trial and error. Primitive!I have the C8PF installed in clear sight of my front yard and mailbox. The main reasons I purchased this camera were to be alerted when mail was delivered and also when people allowed their dogs onto my property as this has been a recent problem. As far as I can tell, however, the only thing that seems to trigger this camera are headlights at night and birds flying directly in front of the lens. I no longer expect it to be reliable for human or pet detection.I had an interesting experience installing a Micro SD card in this camera. Upon initial installation, the camera continued to indicate there was no card present. It took well over an hour before the card actually showed as available for formatting in the IOS app. I am assuming this had to do with the size of the card, which is a massive 400GB but it still left me scratching my head wondering what might be wrong and again, there was no guidance. I was ready to return the card, thinking it was defective. In summary, I had high hopes for this model as my basic Ezviz wifi and indoor PTZ cameras have been reliable and represent great values in their price range. Once a cameras price reach the 3 digit level, however, I feel more is required feature-wise than the C8PF can deliver. Meanwhile the IOS app has become a limiting factor for all Ezviz cameras and needs a ground-up rebuild. If you're in the market for an exterior PTZ camera you should be sure you can live with the limited experience this one provides before purchasing.Very good camera in day and night image quality. The bad thing about this camera is that it gets very hot. It reaches temperatures of 40 degrees. Audio recording also has its flaws, it sounds noisy.
