ATN X-Sight LTV Ultra Light Day & Night Vision Rifle Scope - HD Digital Optics for Hunting & Tactical Shooting in Low Light Conditions

Mounted on my AR15. My only complaint is the weight. Good battery life optic or very clear night vision is very good. I have had 4 NV scopes this is by far the best!!!The night vision depends upon what IR Illuminator you use. Included one is okay, but a better one will improve performance. Daylight has a sharp image. For an extended hunt you might want a solar charger like many use for cell phones to keep the battery fresh on camping trips.This is a really well thought out day / nightscope. It just needs to be charged for 6 hours before first use with a 2 amp charger then can me mounted and zeroed right away. There is almost no learning curve. Controls are easy and basic. You can learn it in 5 minutes. The day and night vision is amazing. Very clear and crisp. Can see extremely good at 150 yards or more. It has good eye relief too. You need to purchase a 30 mm rail mount. This is the best low cost scope on the market. I currently have 5 different brands day / night scopes and this is the best.Great day and night scope unfortunately Amazon dropped the ball on this one and sent me the 3-9 instead of the 5-15 which is what I paid for but a great scope likewise.*Update*ATN customer service was great, but Initial online warranty submission was overlooked. After reaching out with a call, everything went quickly. Customer service shipped replacement scope same day I sent in for return. Will update on longevity later.—- original——Used to sight in and then used multiple times to look around property and verify accuracy. 20-30 rounds total. Went out for hog hunt and unit wouldn’t respond. Tried charging. Barely over a month old. Amazon won’t let me exchange due to 30 day return on item. A lot of $$$ for something to work a handful of times. Submitted warranty ATN, we’ll see how it goes and I’ll update.I’m reviewing this before even trying the scope because I want people to know this scope is lighter than the specs say in the Amazon description. The scope itself only weighs 1.7 lbs, and of course, it will weigh more once accessories are added. I kept reading on Amazon that it was 3 lbs, and was confused by that, until I the scope arrived. The box felt heavy, but when I opened it, I discovered the scope is quite light.Easy to use and the picture is amazing! I asked a question if this scope would fit in a Burris pepr mount. I was told it would fit. IT WILL NOT FIT! The middle area that fits between the rings is to large. I used the supplied rings and it works great on an AR platform.I have not had a chance to sight in yet but just playing with it different hours day and night I'm very happy. I do look forward to upgrading the ir illuminator for better night vision but the included ir will get you started.I had some quirky problems with the video playback skipping and pausing and, thinking it might be a firmware issue, decided to contact ATN directly instead of just returning the unit to Amazon. Ethan with ATN customer service was more than helpful...first sending me a micro SD card to determine if mine was the problem and then authorizing a prepaid return and sending out a brand new replacement with express 2-day delivery even as my return was in progress. Other than the video issue, the other features were flawless...very user friendly functions with incredible daylight clarity and very impressive night vision range.
