I am very pleased with the camera itself. The colour night vision is excellent and the human detection eliminates many false detections. It states on the box that it supports 256GB SD cards so I bought one (Samsung Evo - as recommended on the Ezviz website as tested and supported) but in fact it does not support this card.I contacted Eziviz support who acknowledged that the card is suggested on their website but the support department don't control what is published on the site and that unfortunately my card is NOT supported.I had to buy a 128GB card instead which works.I do recommend the camera (with a 128GB card) but am very disappointed in Ezviz's misleading advertising.I hope this review helps someone from making the same costly mistake I made.Based on my experience so far this is a great camera in conjunction with an SD card. It was very easy to install, I used an IP67 waterproof junction box to house the main connectors and then ran a 12v DC extension cable up into my loft. The camera did come with its own extension cable but I used a well reviewed cable from Amazon which was 18M in length and flat to allow me to easily mount to the wall. You can use POE to connect the camera, but I found that the WiFi strength was more than sufficient.I can't comment on the cloud storage options as I opted for a 64gb SanDisk Max endurance card instead. This allows up to 30,000 hours of recording and is specifically designed for cctv and dash cams due to the amount of overwriting that usually wears out a standard micro SD card.Once installed the camera was very easy to configure. There are multiple detection options including zone detection, line crossing, AI vehicle and person detection. There is a colour night vision mode that is incredibly clear, but if you prefer you can change to a standard black and white mode using the built in IR's. I've conducted multiple tests and the detection sensitivity is spot on (this can be adjusted in the app). You get all of the features without having to subscribe, so for me this was a great option. Once a detection has been made an alert comes through on my phone with an image, from there you can click on the playback option to review the video footage. It is also possible to zoom in on the footage and the resolution is sufficient to read number plates, although it is a shame it isn't 4k resolution but still great. You can then save images or the video on your device if needed. There are additional options to have sound activate and a speaker to allow you to speak to someone such as a delivery driver. There is also a siren and strobe light, which can be triggered during certain events.Overall I have been really impressed with this camera. Once installed it looks descreet and for the price it is a great camera for domestic properties. EZVIZ also offer doorbells and internal cameras should you wish to expand further and the app is very intuitive.Update after 6 months:After having used this camera at the front of my house for 6 months with on average 10-20 detections a day, I still haven't used all of the 65GB space on the SD card, so this is a great option alongside the camera.During this time there have been a couple of firmware updates which have improved stability and so far I continue to be impressed with this camera under all conditions. After reading so many reviews I bought one. Not that happy with it but will do for the time being. If you rellying on WI-FI better DON'T. It takes like 1 minute to load the camera, most of the time won't work or will freeze. Better to use an ethernet cable like I do,camera will load quick, still freeze from time to time. It's advertised as Full HD,well is not,you get a 640 to 480,bad quality, not even 720p. If you zoom in a bit all video or picture will be grainny. If you want a FULL HD picture/video quality DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA. I made a mistake rellying on positive reviews. Night vision is color and amazing, motion detection accurate,it did twice confused the door at the rear garden with an intruder but apart that all is ok so far.Ok so far it’s bot really working as intended. It’s sold as having “artificial intelligence “ working out a human shape rather than animals etc. I’ve been in touch with the company that make this camera and can’t see how it’s any different than cheap Chinese cameras on Amazon for £30 . The alarm is set off by cats with a medium/ low motion sensor, the alarm goes off outside the times specified , and the alarm app is constantly disarming itself , so I don’t know whether this leaves gaps in the recording. So far it hasn’t proved to be working too well .... on the olus side it is wired in so no battery to change
